Start Practicing
- Choose a target from the target readout, or select a character in the Morse reference.
- Press the KEY pad briefly for a dit and hold longer for a dah. Follow the decoded readout as you practice.
- Use Play Target to hear the target, Play Tapped to replay your attempt, and Reset to clear it.
- Choose Classic, Word Rush, or Koch practice. Review recent results in Scores; Clear removes saved scores.
Report a Problem
Include the app version and build, device model, operating system version, the steps you tried, and what happened. For audio, note the output route; for Nearby, note which device hosted and whether both devices discovered each other. Share only information you are comfortable sending by email.
Privacy
Read the Morse Tappers Privacy Policy.
Microphone Permission
Keyer Analyst is not exposed as a user-facing feature in this release. Microphone access is not required for normal trainer, Watch, or Nearby practice.
Local Network Permission
Nearby messaging and duels connect nearby iPhone or iPad devices. Discovery starts only after you choose Host or Join. If Nearby cannot browse or advertise, confirm Local Network permission is enabled and that both devices are on the same local network.
Apple Watch
The Watch app is a compact companion trainer. Use the iPhone or iPad app for full settings, scores, and Nearby setup.
Widgets And Complications
Widgets and complications show local practice snapshots saved by the app. If a widget looks stale, open Morse Tappers once so the latest local state can refresh.
