Morse Tappers Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 11, 2026 · Last updated: October 15, 2026

Summary

Morse Tappers is a local Morse code practice app. It does not use accounts, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, cloud sync, social matching services, or third-party tracking.

Data Collection

The developer does not collect data from the Morse Tappers app. The app does not send practice history, microphone audio, device identifiers, analytics events, advertising identifiers, or nearby messages to Sound Creations Lab servers.

Microphone

Keyer Analyst is not exposed as a user-facing feature in this release. Normal trainer, Watch, and Nearby practice do not require microphone access; raw microphone audio is not recorded or uploaded by those flows.

Local Network

Nearby uses the local network for peer-to-peer Morse messaging and practice duels after you choose Host or Join. Nearby sessions use Apple's local peer connectivity APIs with required session encryption. Your chosen display name, tapped messages, and duel configuration and scores are sent directly to connected peers. The current message transcript is held in app memory. This is user-directed communication, not transmission to a developer server. Morse Tappers does not provide cloud matching, public social discovery, accounts, or internet messaging.

App Storage

Morse Tappers stores local app preferences, practice settings, recent game results and decoded practice text, and widget or complication snapshots using app storage and the app group shared with its extensions. Game history keeps up to 100 recent results; you can remove saved scores using Clear in Scores. This storage restores app state and shows current practice information in widgets and complications.

Tracking And Advertising

Morse Tappers does not track you across apps or websites. It does not include third-party advertising SDKs and does not sell personal information.

Children

Morse Tappers is a Morse code practice and training tool. It does not include account creation, public posting, cloud private messaging, ads, in-app purchases, or user profiling.

Support Requests

The public support page provides an email support address. If you send a support request, the information you choose to provide is used only to respond to that request. Do not include sensitive personal information, passwords, raw audio, or private messages in support requests.

Changes

If this policy changes, Sound Creations Lab will update this page and the effective date.
